In a time of crisis and chaos when persons yearn for a greater understanding of the word of God, the Lay Preachers’ Federation of St Kitts, Personal Ministries leaders and pastoral staff on the island, organized a virtual two-week evangelistic thrust. The series was launched on October 11, and aired nightly, Sunday to Friday, on the SKB Adventist YouTube channel. The aim was to acquaint the people of St. Kitts, and elsewhere, on end-time events as well as to broaden the understanding of those who considered the books of Daniel and Revelation as hard to interpret because of the many signs and symbols they contain.
The two-week seminar was dubbed “Jesus is the Answer Prophecy Panorama”. Pastor Theodore Smith of District #3 was the speaker for this amazing series which was focused primarily on the prophecies of Daniel and linked them to the end-time prophecies of Revelation. The series featured heartwarming welcomes and inspirational singing from individuals and groups. Another feature was intercessory prayer which took place before the sessions began, during the program and at the end on the Zoom platform.
The technical team played a pivotal role as this was a virtual campaign. Members of the team worked tirelessly to ensure that the production was of a high quality and well-presented. Coordinators also assisted by organizing participants for recordings that made up the completed program.
In his presentations, Pastor Smith declared the reassuring words that Jesus is the solution for the present crisis. He did this by taking viewers back in time and showed them how events unfolded then. Some topics he expounded on were, “Feeling Hot Hot Hot”; “Reflections of a Mad Man” and “The Coming of the King”. Pastor Smith then brought the viewers into the future to highlight coming events.
The evangelistic thrust was evident as nightly appeals were made. The series brought new insights into the word of God. Listeners were empowered to make informed decisions for “weal or woe”, for better or worse.
The response from viewers revealed that there is an interest in the Word, and many persons requested prayer. The team will now work assiduously on its follow-up plan of reaching out to contacts, to maintain their interest with a view to leading them to make a total surrender to Christ.
All glory to God for this production. The organizers recognize that it may never be known all who were impacted during these two weeks, but eternity will tell.
