This meeting will be held at the Tindall Seventh-day Adventist Church from 10 a.m. – 12 noon. We will discuss effective approaches to minister to women in the church and community, and we will also conduct the island’s Women’s Ministries elections. On Sabbath, February 8, 2025, at 4 p.m., the Women’s Ministries director of the Caribbean Union, Mrs. Debra Henry, will meet with all women on Antigua at the Bible Speaks Seventh-day Adventist Church. Thank you for your attendance to this important convention with all women.
All superintendents, Children's Ministries leaders, and Children's Division leaders are invited to the official launch of "Alive in Jesus", the new Sabbath School curriculum for children on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 9 a.m. at the Clare Hall Seventh-day Adventist Church. Present at this session will be Anita Rodríguez, the vice president of Sales and Marketing for Inter-American Division Publishing Association; Mrs. Debra Henry, Children's Ministries director of the Caribbean Union; Dr. Eulalie Semper, Children's Ministries director of the South Leeward Conference; Dr. Kay White, Sabbath School director of the South Leeward Conference; and Mrs. Desree Doyle, manager of the Adventist Book Center. This launch will be held on Antigua and aired live across the conference. All superintendents, Children's Ministries leaders, and the teachers within the Children's Division are kindly asked to attend.
On Friday, February 7, 2025, there will be a leadership empowerment session for all Women's Ministries, Children’s Ministries, and Adventist Possibility Ministries leaders at the Bible Speak Seventh-day Adventist Church from 7 p.m. -8:30 p.m. The guest speaker is Mrs. Debra Henry, the Women's, Children’s, and Adventist Possibility Ministries director of the Caribbean Union. All leaders are specially invited to this event.
Calling all members of the South Leeward Conference! You are cordially invited to participate in The Great Controversy Project. This exciting initiative will undertake the distribution of 30,000 copies of the Great Controversy in Antigua and Barbuda. All contributions toward the Great Controversy Project should be placed in the tithe envelope with the note, “Great Controversy Project”. Each local church should remit the payments to the Adventist Book Centre. Thank you for your cooperation.

The University of the Southern Caribbean’s Professional Development Institute (PDI) is pleased to invite interested persons to join Cohort 2 of the Special Education Programme for Professionals course from January 13 to February 7, 2025, via Zoom. The details are as follows:
Focus: The programme provides a thorough understanding of special education dimensions while equipping participants with skills relevant to their roles and responsibilities in supporting children and adolescents.
Structure: Six modules, each comprising 30 professional development hours over four weeks on a virtual learning platform. The fourth week is dedicated to formal assessments.
- Participants: Early and mid-career professionals, including government and private sector curriculum developers, lawyers, officers of family court, juvenile detention officers, social workers, guidance counselors, school psychologists, school principals, and education policy and planning officers.
